I was in Liverpool last week to promote Forest Secrets and to pre-launch our new producs iBright and iBright plus, 2 products to even skin pigmentation.
This year I was able to enjoy the event much more as my friend Sacha was there to support me and so I could tune in with what the Mobo is all about:
great opportunities for young talents (great dancers and singers)
community
celebrating life through black music
I met several dancers that looked really sweet face to face and then transformed themselves into a passionate being transporting the audience onto a state of euphoria and excitiment. I also came across top celebreties that despite being big are very friendly and available for a shot. For example boy band JLS (these young men are quite something, on stage and off stage and won UK best album and UK best performance) and Jermaine Jackson.
Halima, Jermain's wife, remembered me from last year and was really pleased to see me this year because she remembered how good my products were for her skin and she wanted some more.
I also met the band playing for Nelly, really friendly and talented artists, and I wish them to go higher and higher with their career.
I also had the pleasure to meet street dancers from the Peridot group and manage to get a shot with Mid-Air.
Overall it was a great success and iBright was received with great interest. Some people were put off by it because skin lightening is such a delicate issue, and misunderstood the message, those people are on the go go go (and they thought the product is designed to bleach their skin, but it is not), but I hope the press releases and the samples will explain more about the real intention behind it.
